Shipping and Return Policy
This page contains some pretty important information about shipping your orders!
Please read the policy below for details about processing, shipping, returns and refunds. This policy applies to every item for sale in the shop.
An average of three business days is required for processing once an order has been placed.
Processing times during holiday and peak periods may increase. Notification of longer processing times will be posted on the website and social media channels (Facebook and Instagram).
I can’t guarantee an exact delivery date due to processing and shipping times, however please leave a comment in the box provided at checkout or get in touch with me if you require your order urgently, and I will do my best to meet your deadline.
Your items will be shipped in an envelope, padded envelope or cardboard box depending on what you have ordered. Most items are enclosed in an archival safe clear bag to protect them during transit. Prints are shipped with stiff backing board to prevent any bending or damage. Please refer to the "Returns and Refunds" section below if an item arrives damaged.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
I am based in the United States and all orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Shipping costs are set by USPS and based on total package weight and destination.
Free shipping is available for orders that total $15.00 and over. The option for free shipping must be selected in the Shipping Options menu during checkout. Free shipping may not include tracking.
I can’t guarantee a delivery date once an order has been shipped. If you selected a shipping option that includes tracking, you will receive a notification with your tracking number once your order has been shipped. If you selected a shipping option that does not include tracking, you will receive a notification once your item has been shipped, and you can expect to receive your order within one to five days from the date of shipment.
If your order has not arrived within ten (10) business days of being shipped, please refer to the "Undelivered Orders" section below.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some shipping restrictions apply. Please visit the USPS website to determine if your country is eligible for shipping.
USPS has temporarily suspended package shipping to Australia and New Zealand. Letters are still able to be shipped.
I ship to various countries, however if you live in a country that is not listed at checkout, please get in touch with me as I may still be able to send to your country. Additional shipping destinations will be added in the near future.
All orders are shipped through USPS. Shipping costs are established by USPS and based on total package weight and destination.
Small, lightweight, flat items, such as stickers, sticker sheets and suncatchers are shipped as a letter (no tracking) and cost $1.20 to any country.
Larger, heavier items, and items that require protective wrapping, such as prints, keychains and notepads are shipped in a padded envelope or box, and classified as a package. Package shipping rates vary depending on the destination country.
**Please note there are significant shipping delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.**
Delivery times vary per country (estimated 6 to 21 business days delivery time) and limited tracking is available for certain countries. I can’t guarantee the delivery of an order and I am not responsible for lost or delayed orders once the order has been shipped. If the shipping address you entered was correct when you placed the order, please contact your local Post Office to file a claim in this rare instance.
Import duties and taxes
Duty/import taxes may apply depending on your country. Import duties and taxes are not included in the item or shipping cost, and I am not responsible for any charges that may apply. I am unable to refund or exchange items that that have been refused for non-payment of import taxes. Please be aware that your item may be held at your local post office until these payments are made.
Returns and Refunds
I do my best to package orders to avoid any damage to the item(s), however I am happy to replace or refund an item if it is damaged during transit and arrives in an unusable condition. Please contact me within three (3) days of your order delivery if your order arrives damaged or is defective. Please include your order number and a description of how your item is damaged/defective in the message. You may be asked to provide a photograph of the damaged/defective item after making your replacement/refund request.
Please check the shipping times mentioned above before contacting me regarding an undelivered order.
All orders are shipped through USPS. If you selected a shipping option that includes tracking, you will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped. To track your order visit the USPS website.
Orders that are undeliverable will be returned to me. I will contact you should your order be returned.
Incorrect shipping address:
- If you incorrectly entered the shipping address when you placed the order and the order was not returned to me, I can resend your order to the correct address, however you will be financially responsible for the replacement item(s) and additional shipping costs.
- If you incorrectly entered the shipping address when you placed the order and the order was returned to me, I can resend your order to the correct address, however you will be financially responsible for additional shipping costs. Alternatively, if you prefer, I can refund your order excluding any shipping costs.
Correct shipping address:
- Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee the delivery of an order or be responsible for lost or delayed orders once the order has been shipped. If the shipping address was correct when you placed the order, please contact your local Post Office to file a claim in this rare instance.
I understand it can be frustrating when your order is not delivered, and I'd like to help. Please contact me once you have filed your claim so that I can also follow up with USPS to find out what went wrong with your delivery.
- If the shipping address was correct when you placed the order, but your order was stolen after it was delivered, then please contact me as soon as possible. You may be asked to provide proof of the theft (video or photographic evidence). Stealing from others is a terrible thing and I’m sorry this happened to you. I am happy to resend your order, however you will be financially responsible for any additional shipping costs.
Once an order has been placed it can’t be cancelled.
Change Of Mind
There are no refunds or returns for change of mind on any orders. If an item is damaged or defective, I am happy to replace or refund the item (see “damaged items” above).
There are no refunds or returns for any sale item. A sale item is any item that has been discounted from its original price, including items purchased with a discount code. However, I am happy to replace or refund an item purchased on sale if the item is damaged (please see "damaged items" above).
There are no refunds or returns on any custom-made orders. Custom items include:
- Hand-drawn cards
- Custom artwork
- Commissioned artwork
Conditions of sale
In the event an item is refunded:
- The refund payment can only be sent to the original payment method you used when you made the purchase. If you no longer have access to that payment method, you will need to contact the bank or agency to claim the funds after the refund is sent.
- Please allow seven (7) business days for processing your refund. Once your refund is processed it may take up to ten (10) business days for you to receive your refund.
In the event an item needs to be returned:
- You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise communicated by The Rosy Redhead.
- The item needs to be returned in its original condition. For an item to be considered in its "original condition", the item must be undamaged and contained in its clear bag packaging with the backing board.
- If the item is not returned in its original condition, you will be held financially responsible for any loss in value.
- The item needs to be returned within 30 days.
All artwork/design created by The Rosy Redhead is intended for personal use only. It is forbidden to copy, reproduce, sell any artwork/design created by The Rosy Redhead, unless written consent has been provided. Under no circumstances are designs by The Rosy Redhead to be used for commercial purposes. If you would like to use artwork/design created by The Rosy Redhead for commercial purposes, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
